Tromsdalen, also known as Romssavággi in Northern Sami, is an urban neighborhood located within the city of Tromsø. It is situated in the Troms county of Norway, specifically within the Tromsø Municipality. The area lies on the mainland just to the east of the city center along the coast of the Tromsøysundet strait.
The village covers a total area of 5.13 square kilometres (1,270 acres). As of 2023, Tromsdalen has a population of 18,202 residents, resulting in a population density of approximately 3,548 inhabitants per square kilometre.
