Lyngseidet is a village and the administrative centre of Lyngen Municipality, located in the Troms county of Norway. The settlement is known by several names depending on the language used, including Muotki or Ivgumuotki in Northern Sami and Muotka in Kven.
The village is situated on an isthmus approximately 3 km (1.9 mi) wide. This land bridge lies between two bodies of water: an arm of the Ullsfjorden and the Lyngenfjorden.
