Evenskjer, also known by the names Skánik, Skearri, or Viervá in Northern Sami, is a village located in Norway. It serves as the administrative centre of Tjeldsund Municipality within Troms county. The settlement is situated along the Tjeldsundet strait, approximately 25 km (16 mi) south of the town of Harstad.
The village covers an area of 0.86 square kilometres (210 acres). As of 2023, Evenskjer had a population of 822 residents, resulting in a population density of 956 inhabitants per square kilometre. European route E10 passes just to the north of the village.
