Porsgrunn is a municipality located in Telemark county, Norway. It is situated within the traditional district known as Grenland. The city of Porsgrunn serves as the administrative centre for the municipality.
In addition to the primary city, the municipality includes several other notable settlements. These include the town of Brevik and the villages of Langangen and Heistad.
