Kopervik is the largest town located on the island of Karmøy in Rogaland county, Norway. It serves as the administrative center for the Karmøy Municipality and is situated within the traditional district of Haugaland.
The town is also part of the Haugesund Region, which is classified as a statistical metropolitan area. Historically, Kopervik functioned as an independent municipality from 1866 until 1964.
