Jørpeland is the administrative center of Strand Municipality, located in the Rogaland county of Norway. Situated on the western coast of the mainland, the town lies along the shore of the Idsefjorden.
The settlement is positioned approximately 20 kilometres northeast of the city of Stavanger. It sits along the Norwegian National Road 13 and is located a short distance southeast of the village of Tau, which serves as the site for the eastern entrance of the Ryfast tunnel.
