Haugesund is a town situated in Haugesund Municipality within the Rogaland county of Norway. It is located along the Karmsundet strait on the country's southwest coast.
Geographically, the town is positioned approximately 60 kilometres (37 mi) north of Stavanger and about 120 kilometres (75 mi) south of Bergen.
