Trofors is a city located in Nordland county, Norway. It serves as the administrative centre for Grane Municipality.
The town is situated at the confluence of the rivers Austervefsna and Svenningdalselva, which combine to form the large river Vefsna. Nearby settlements include the village of Leiren, located approximately 25 kilometres to the southeast, and the village of Majavatn, situated about 45 kilometres to the south.
