Stokmarknes, also known as Njárga in Northern Sami, is a town located in the Nordland county of Norway. It serves as the administrative centre for Hadsel Municipality and is situated on the northern coast of the island of Hadseløya, adjacent to the small neighboring island of Børøya.
The town covers an area of 2.57 square kilometres (640 acres) and had a population of 3,496 residents in 2023, resulting in a population density of 1,360 inhabitants per square kilometre. Stokmarknes was officially granted "town status" in the year 2000.
