Mo i Rana, also known as Måefie in Southern Sami, is a city located in the Helgeland region of Nordland county, Norway. It serves as the administrative centre for the Rana Municipality and is situated just south of the Arctic Circle.
The city features several surrounding suburbs, including Båsmoen and Ytteren to the north, Gruben in the southeast, Selfors to the east, and Åga, Hauknes, and Dalsgrenda in the south.
