Sunndalsøra is a city located in Norway that serves as the administrative centre of Sunndal Municipality within the Møre og Romsdal county. The village is situated at the mouth of the Driva river, marking the beginning of the Sunndalsfjord.

The surrounding landscape is characterized by steep mountains, including Hårstadnebba, which reaches an elevation of up to 1,700 metres (5,600 ft). Due to these geographical features, some of the mountains near Sunndalsøra are utilized for BASE jumping.
