Åndalsnes is a town located in the Rauma Municipality within the Møre og Romsdal county of Norway. It serves as the administrative center for the municipality and is situated at the north end of the Romsdalen valley.
The town is positioned along the Isfjorden at the mouth of the Rauma river. Nearby settlements include the village of Isfjorden, located approximately 7 kilometres to the east, Veblungsnes across the Rauma river to the west, and Innfjorden roughly 10 kilometres to the southwest via the European Route E136 highway.
