Lakselv, known as Leavdnja in Northern Sami and Lemmijoki in Kven, is the largest village and administrative center of Porsanger Municipality. It is located in the Finnmark county of northern Norway, situated at the southern end of the large Porsangerfjorden.
The village covers an area of 2.36 square kilometres (580 acres). As of 2023, it has a population of 2,224 residents, resulting in a population density of approximately 942 inhabitants per square kilometre.
