Svelvik is a town located in Drammen Municipality within the county of Buskerud, Norway. It is situated along the west shore of the Drammensfjorden.
The town is positioned approximately 20 kilometres southeast of the town of Drammen and about 8 kilometres north of the village of Berger. The village of Klokkarstua is located roughly 2 kilometres to the east, across the fjord from Svelvik.
