Hønefoss is a town located in Norway, serving as the administrative center of the Ringerike municipality within Buskerud county. As of January 1, 2022, the population of the town was 16,547 inhabitants.
The area is characterized as an industrial center for inner Østlandet, housing various factories and other industrial facilities. Historically, Hønefoss functioned as an independent municipality between the years 1852 and 1964.
