Waddinxveen is a town and municipality located in the western Netherlands within the province of South Holland. It is situated along the Gouwe river in close proximity to the city of Gouda.
The municipality covers a total area of 29.40 km² (11.35 sq mi), of which 1.63 km² (0.63 sq mi) consists of water. As of 2021, the population of Waddinxveen was 30,479.
