Voorburg is a town located in the western part of the province of South Holland in the Netherlands. It is situated adjacent to the city of The Hague and is frequently regarded as one of its suburbs.
In 2002, Voorburg ceased to be an independent municipality when it merged with the town of Leidschendam and the village of Stompwijk to form the new municipality of Leidschendam-Voorburg.
