Vlaardingen is a large town and municipality located in the province of South Holland in the Netherlands. It occupies an area of 26.69 km² (10.31 sq mi), consisting of 23.57 km² (9.10 sq mi) of land.
The municipality is situated on the north bank of the Nieuwe Maas river at its confluence with the Oude Maas. As of 2021, the town had a population of 73,924 residents.
