Spijkenisse is a large town located in the province of South Holland in the Netherlands. It is situated within the Greater Rotterdam area and covers a total area of 30.27 km², which includes 4.15 km² of water.
Following an administrative reform in 2015, Spijkenisse became part of the municipality of Nissewaard. The town currently has a population of approximately 72,500 residents.
