Rijswijk, historically known as Ryswick in English, is a town and municipality located in the western Netherlands within the province of South Holland. It occupies a total area of 14.49 km2 (5.59 sq mi), with approximately 0.53 km2 (0.20 sq mi) of that landmass consisting of water.
As of 2024, the municipality has a population of 59,642 residents. It serves as a populated urban center in the South Holland region.
