Gorinchem, also spelled Gorkum, is a city and municipality located in the western Netherlands within the province of South Holland. The municipality encompasses a total area of 21.93 km² (8.47 sq mi), with approximately 3.10 km² (1.20 sq mi) consisting of water.
As of 2021, the city had a recorded population of 37,410 residents. It serves as a regional center in the South Holland province.
