Bodegraven is a town and former municipality located in the western part of the Netherlands within the province of South Holland. It serves as a local residential and administrative area in the region.
The former municipality covers a total area of 38.50 km2 (14.86 sq mi). Of this landmass, approximately 1.02 km2 (0.39 sq mi) is composed of water.
