Bergschenhoek is a town and former municipality located in the province of South Holland, Netherlands. It is situated approximately 10 km north of Rotterdam. The town currently serves as part of the larger municipality of Lansingerland.
On January 1, 2007, Bergschenhoek merged with the neighboring towns of Berkel en Rodenrijs and Bleiswijk to form the new municipality of Lansingerland. These three towns are collectively referred to by locals as the "3B Hoek."
As of 2019, Bergschenhoek had a population of 18,475 residents. The town covers a total area of 15.52 km2, with 0.63 km2 of that area consisting of water.
