Borssele is a village located in the Dutch province of Zeeland. It is situated approximately 12 km east of the city of Vlissingen.
The village is part of the municipality of Borsele. While the name of the town is spelled with a double "s," the name of the municipality it belongs to is spelled with a single "s."
