Weesp is a city and urban area located in the province of North Holland, Netherlands. It is situated along the river Vecht and adjacent to the Amsterdam–Rhine Canal within an area known as the Vechtstreek. As of 2021, the city had a population of 20,445.
The former municipality of Weesp officially merged with the city of Amsterdam on March 24, 2022. It now functions as part of the larger municipal structure of Amsterdam.
