Bussum is a city located in the province of North Holland in the southeastern region of the Netherlands. It serves as a commuter town situated to the east of Amsterdam and lies near the city of Hilversum.
Historically, Bussum was an independent municipality within the Gooi region. However, since 2016, it has been integrated into the larger new municipality of Gooise Meren.
