Steenbergen is a town and municipality located in the province of North Brabant in the southern region of the Netherlands. As of 2021, the municipality had a population of 24,310 and covers a total area of 159.14 km2, with approximately 12.71 km2 consisting of water.
The local economy is primarily agricultural, featuring a notably growing greenhouse sector. Additionally, the town of Steenbergen and the neighboring town of Dinteloord host various light industries. The municipality's connectivity is currently being enhanced by the construction of a new stretch of the A4 motorway, which will provide easier access to Rotterdam in the north, Antwerp in the south, and the nearby city of Bergen op Zoom.
