Son en Breugel is a municipality located in the southern region of the Netherlands, situated just outside the city of Eindhoven. The municipality covers an area of 26.51 km² (10.24 sq mi), with approximately 0.56 km² (0.22 sq mi) consisting of water. As of 2021, the population of the municipality was 17,552.

The municipality originated from two distinct villages, Son and Breugel, which were historically separated by the Dommel stream. It borders several larger municipalities, including Eindhoven, Meierijstad, Nuenen, Gerwen en Nederwetten, and Best. The primary spoken language in the area is North Meierijs.
