Geldrop is a town located in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is situated within the municipality of Geldrop-Mierlo, positioned approximately 5 kilometers east of the city centre of Eindhoven.
Historically, Geldrop functioned as an independent municipality until 2004, at which point it merged with the neighboring village of Mierlo to form the current administrative division.
