Weert is a municipality and city situated in the southeastern region of the Netherlands. It is located within the western portion of the province of Limburg.
The city serves as a transport hub, positioned along the Eindhoven–Maastricht railway line and the A2 motorway. Additionally, it is situated across the Zuid-Willemsvaart canal.
