Harderwijk is a city and municipality located in the Netherlands. It serves as a primary population center for the region, along with the town of Hierden. The city is accessible via the Harderwijk railway station.
The municipality is situated on the western boundary of the Veluwe. A significant portion of its southeastern half consists largely of forests.
