Villa Sandino is a municipality located in the Chontales Department of Nicaragua. It covers a total land area of 676.5 km² (261.2 sq mi) and has an estimated population of 15,189 individuals as of 2023.
The municipality was officially established on August 27, 1942, under the original name Villa Somoza. It was later renamed to Villa Sandino in 1979.
