Bukkuyum is a Local Government Area located in the northwestern state of Zamfara, Nigeria. The administrative headquarters for the region is situated within the town of Bukkuyum.
The area covers a total landmass of 3,214 square kilometers. According to the 2006 census, the population of the Local Government Area was recorded at 211,633 residents.
