Dukku is a town and Local Government Area (LGA) located in Gombe State, Nigeria. It covers a total area of 3,815 km2 and had a recorded population of 207,190 according to the 2006 census.
The geography of the region is defined by the Gongola River, which flows through the north and west of the LGA. The area is primarily inhabited by the Fulani people, who speak Fulfulde as a major language alongside Bole. Other languages spoken in the region include Hausa, Kanuri, and Kare-Kare.
The population of Dukku is predominantly Muslim, though there is also a Christian minority residing in the area.
