Twon-Brass

Twon-Brass, formerly known as Brass or Brasstown, is a Nembe speaking community located in Southern Bayelsa State, Nigeria. It is situated on Brass Island within the Nun River estuary in the Brass Local Government Area. The town was established in 1895.

Geographically, Twon-Brass is positioned on the east shore of the Brass River, which serves as a branch of the Nun River and subsequently a branch of the Niger River. The community is governed by traditional leadership, with King Alfred Diete-Spiff serving as the Amanayabo of Twon-Brass, assisted by Indutimi Matthew.
