Omoku is a town located in the northern part of Rivers State, Nigeria. It is situated near the boundaries of Delta State and Imo State at the geographical coordinates 5° 20' 37.97" N and 6° 39' 24.62" E. The town has a population of approximately 320,000 people.
The city serves as the headquarters of the Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area and is one of the major cities within Rivers State. It functions as the capital seat of the Oba of Ogba land and is home to the Federal College of Education (Technical). The local inhabitants primarily speak Ogba, which belongs to the Igboid language family.
