Ughelli is a town located in Delta State, Nigeria. It serves as the headquarters for the Ughelli North local government area and is one of the 24 kingdoms that comprise the Urhobo Nation.
The city is indigenous to the Urhobo ethnic group, though it hosts a diverse population consisting of various other tribes from within Nigeria and from abroad. Economically, Ughelli is recognized as an industrial and agricultural hub within Delta State.
