Ganye is a town and Local Government Area located in Adamawa State, Nigeria. It serves as a significant administrative center within the region, having historically served as the parent area from which the Jada and Toungo Local Governments were later carved out.
The town is bordered by the Jada Local Government Area to the north and east, the Toungo Local Government Area to the south, and Taraba State to the west. Ganye is notably recognized as the worldwide headquarters of the Sama (Chamba) people.
