Igbo-Ora is a town located in southwestern Nigeria. It serves as the headquarters of Ibarapa Central within Oyo State and is situated approximately 80 kilometres (50 miles) north of Lagos.
The population of the town has seen significant growth over the last two decades. In 2006, the population was recorded at approximately 72,207 people, while by 2017, it was estimated to have reached around 278,514 people.
