New Bussa

New Bussa is a town located in Niger State, Nigeria. It serves as the current site of Bussa following the construction of the Kainji Lake dam, which submerged the original settlement. As of 2007, the town had an estimated population of 24,449 residents.

The town functions as the headquarters for both the Borgu Emirate and the Borgu Local Government Area. It remains a significant administrative and cultural center within the region.
