Offa is a city located in Nigeria.
The name Offa is also associated with the historical figure Offa of Mercia, who served as King of Mercia, an Anglo-Saxon kingdom in England, from 757 until his death in 796. He ascended to the throne following a period of civil war and consolidated control over various Midland peoples before extending Mercian supremacy across much of southern England.
