Agulu

Agulu is a large town located in the Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State, Nigeria. It falls under the jurisdiction of the Anambra Central Senatorial District and comprises twenty distinct villages, including Nwanchi, Nneohia, Okpu, Ama-Ezike, Odidama, Amorji, Isiamaigbo, Ukunu, Uhueme, Obeagu, Obe, Nkitaku, Okpu-Ifite, Umubialla, Amatutu, Umuowelle, Umunnowu, Ifiteani, Umuifite, and Nneogidi.

The community is notable for being home to Agulu Lake and the Agulu-Nanka erosion sites. It has produced prominent figures in various sectors such as politics, industries, academia, and government, including former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi.
