Faskari is a town and Local Government Area (LGA) located in Katsina State in northern Nigeria. It serves as a primary administrative division within the state.
As of 2003, the population of the Faskari Local Government Area was recorded at 125,181. The area is currently led by Executive Chairman Honourable Bala Faskari, a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and the current Sarki (Emir) is Eng. Aminu Tukur Saidu.
