Kagarko is a Local Government Area located in the southern region of Kaduna State, Nigeria. The administrative headquarters for the area are situated in the town of Kagarko.
The local government area covers a total land area of 2,356 km². According to the 2006 census, it had a population of 239,058 residents. The Local Government Council is currently chaired by Nasara Rabo, and the region uses the postal code 802.
