Kafanchan

Kafanchan is a town located in the southern part of Kaduna State, Nigeria. As of 2007, the town had an estimated population of 83,092 residents.

The development of Kafanchan is largely attributed to railway infrastructure in the region. The town serves as a site for a Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) station built in 1927, situated at a specific junction on the railtrack connecting Port Harcourt, Enugu, Kafanchan, Kuru, Bauchi, and Maiduguri.
