Ayetoro is a town located in Ogun State, Nigeria. Situated at latitude 70°12’N and longitude 30°3’E, it lies within a deciduous-derived savannah zone. The region experiences a sub-humid tropical climate with a long-term average annual rainfall of 1,909.30 mm.
The town serves as the administrative headquarters for the Yewa North Local Government Area and is positioned approximately 35 km northwest of Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State. Ayetoro is connected to Lagos via both road and rail networks. It functions as a shipping center for an area that produces agricultural commodities including cocoa, cassava, cowpea, and maize.
