Kambu Swayambhuva, also referred to as Kambu Svayambhuva, was an ancestor of the Kambuja tribe and served as a king of Aryadesa. He is recognized in historical and religious contexts as a significant figure within Indian history.
He is listed and praised in shloka 22 of the Ekatmata Stotra hymn. In this text, he is honored alongside other prominent Hindu sages, warriors, and conquerors, including Agastya, Narasimhavarman I, Rajendra Chola I, Ashoka, and Pushyamitra Shunga.
