Gurúè is a town situated in the northern region of Mozambique, positioned near the center of the Zambezia Province. It serves as the principal urban center for the Gurué District.
The town is notable for hosting Mozambique's largest tea estate. According to census data from 2007, Gurúè had a population of 145,466, reflecting an increase from the 99,335 inhabitants recorded in 1997.
