Bukit Fraser

Malaysia

Fraser's Hill is a hill resort located in the Raub District of Pahang, Malaysia. It sits on the Pahangese and Selangorean sections of the Titiwangsa Mountains, approximately 100 km north of Kuala Lumpur.

The area was established in 1890 by Louis James Fraser as a tin mining community named Pamah Lebar following the discovery of rich tin deposits. Mining operations were short-lived and ceased in 1913 once the ore was depleted, leading to the abandonment of the site by many miners and farmers.
