Ayer Hitam is a town situated in the Batu Pahat District of Johor, Malaysia. It is commonly referred to by the nickname Bandar Seramik due to its local industries.
The town is located at the junction of Federal Route 1 and Federal Route 50 and serves as an interchange for the North–South Expressway. It is primarily known for its numerous outlets that sell pottery and various other types of crafts.
